1. Acceptance of the terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the AprendaPlay platform (“platform”, “we”). By creating an account or using any feature, you (“user”) declare that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What AprendaPlay is

AprendaPlay is a gamified study platform focused on preparing for public service exams and college entrance exams. We offer study journeys organized by subject, challenges with questions, experience points (XP), levels, stars, daily streaks and ranking leagues among students.

3. Registration and account

• To use the platform, you need to create an account with your name, email and password, providing true and up-to-date information.
• Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activities carried out with it.
• Users under 18 must use the platform with the consent and supervision of their parents or legal guardians.
• If you suspect misuse of your account, let us know immediately at [email protected].

4. Rules of conduct

To keep the environment fair and healthy for everyone, it is forbidden to:

• use bots, scripts or any automation to answer challenges, accumulate XP or manipulate rankings;
• exploit flaws, bypass security mechanisms or try to access unauthorized areas and data;
• send an excessive volume of requests or take any action that harms the stability of the service;
• share your account or sell, assign or rent access to third parties;
• copy, reproduce or distribute the questions and other content of the platform without authorization;
• publish offensive, discriminatory or illegal content on your profile, or content that violates the rights of third parties.

Breaking these rules may result in a warning, removal of points, suspension or termination of the account.

5. XP, levels, stars and leagues

• XP, levels, stars, streaks and league positions are gamification elements with no monetary value: they cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or traded.
• We may adjust the scoring rules, the level table and how leagues work to keep the platform balanced.
• Leagues are reset periodically, according to the rules shown in each of them.
• Scores obtained through fraud or in violation of these terms may be removed.

6. Premium plans and payments

• Basic use of the platform is free. Premium plans offer additional features, such as exclusive journeys, for the period stated at purchase.
• Payments are processed by Mercado Pago, via Pix, boleto or credit card. We do not store your full card details.
• Access is granted after the payment is confirmed. Boleto payments may take up to 3 business days to clear.
• Plans do not renew automatically: at the end of the purchased period, Premium access ends and you can purchase a new plan if you wish.
• Prices may change at any time, without affecting plans already purchased.

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Under Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor), you may cancel your purchase within 7 (seven) calendar days from the payment date, with a full refund of the amount paid. To do so, send your request to [email protected], stating your account email and the purchase details. The refund is made through the same payment method used, subject to the deadlines of Mercado Pago and the card issuer.

8. Intellectual property

The AprendaPlay brand, logo, layout, texts, questions, illustrations, source code and other elements of the platform are protected by intellectual property law. Using the platform grants you only a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license for study purposes.

The content you publish on your profile, such as your photo and bio, remains yours. You authorize us to display it on the platform while your account is active.

9. Educational content

We strive to keep questions and explanations accurate and up to date, but they may contain inaccuracies or become outdated after changes in legislation or exam notices. We always recommend checking official sources. Found an error? Write to [email protected].

10. Availability and liability

We work to keep the platform continuously available, but interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of the platform's content.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Brazilian law.

11. Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time by requesting deletion at [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, notifying the user, except when the law or the security of the platform requires immediate action.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect improvements to the platform or legal changes. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page and, in case of relevant changes, we will notify you through the platform's channels. Continued use after the update means you agree with the new version.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the user's place of residence are chosen to settle any disputes, under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
